Week of Giving Thanks

MDCC Foundation Launches New Giving Platform to Celebrate the National Day of Giving

Happy Thanksgiving from our Trojan Family to yours!!

Moorhead, MS - As we conclude our Week of Giving Thanks, the MDCC Development Foundation is proud to carry that spirit forward into National Giving Tuesday 2025. This special occasion celebrates generosity, community, and the shared belief that when we give together, we grow together.

On Monday, the MDCC Foundation officially launches its brand-new online giving platform, created to make supporting MDCC students easier, faster, and more meaningful than ever before. This new website is a one-stop destination for those who want to invest in the future of the Mississippi Delta by supporting student success, academic excellence, and campus growth.

Through the new platform, supporters can explore a variety of ways to give, ensuring every donor can make an impact in the way that matters most to them:

  • One-time online gifts – Give instantly and securely through our online giving portal.

  • Monthly recurring donations or pledges – Create lasting change with ongoing support throughout the year.

  • Honor or memorial gifts – Celebrate someone special by making a gift in their name.

  • Targeted giving opportunities – Direct your support to specific scholarships, academic programs, student success initiatives, and athletic funds.

“Our community has shown tremendous generosity throughout this Week of Giving Thanks,” said Alan Crews, Executive Director of the MDCC Foundation. “This new giving website represents a major step forward in our mission to expand educational opportunities and ensure every donor can directly connect with the causes they care about—whether that’s funding a scholarship, supporting workforce training, or strengthening student life on campus.”

The Foundation’s initiatives include a wide range of programs designed to uplift students and empower the region—from Annual and Endowed Scholarship Funds and Athletics and Fine Arts support to Workforce Development programs and Emergency Student Support. Every gift, no matter the size, contributes to MDCC’s mission of transforming lives through accessible, high-quality education.

Alan Crews added, “MDCC doesn’t just educate students—we build the workforce that keeps the Delta moving forward. Our students are born here, they tend to stay here, and they strengthen the communities that raised them. Investing in MDCC is investing directly in the future of the Mississippi Delta.

To celebrate National Giving Day, the MDCC Foundation invites alumni, community members, and friends to visit the new giving platform when it launches on Monday, December 1, and explore the many options for giving, and join the movement to make a difference for students across the Mississippi Delta. Be on the lookout on our homepage and social media for the official launch of the new platform!
